 Sarah Calvert, owner of SepTex, is a Registered Sanitarian (RS) with the Department of State Health Services. She also holds a site evaluator license (SE) from Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, a Certified Pool Operator license (CPO) and NAWT (National Association of Wastewater Transporters) certification.
Sarah has eighteen years experience in the On-Site Sewage Facilty (OSSF) and septic system industry. She was a Designated Representative (inspector) for Travis County and the City of Austin eight years before beginning private consultations. As a Designated Representative she has inspected thousands of septic sytems of all types. This includes every phase of construction, real estate certifications, failed sytem investigations, and public health violations. Her knowledge of current regulations is augmented by understanding previous regulations and typical applications of earlier requirements when older systems were constructed.
Experience with other aspects of the OSSF industry such as installation/repair contractors, pumping companies, maintenance contractors, excavation and equipment operators, well drillers and other environmental professionals assures complete assessment for any project.
